Article via Mainichi.

The mother of former Morning Musume member Maki Goto has died, apparently after plunging from a window of her apartment in Tokyo's Edogawa Ward, police said.
Police said Goto's elder sister found Tokiko Goto collapsed on a road in front of her home at about 10:55 p.m. on Saturday, and phoned for an ambulance. The 55-year-old was taken to a hospital but she had suffered severe head injuries and she was soon confirmed dead.
Investigators said a window on the third floor was open and there was no evidence of a struggle having occurred. They are investigating the possibility that she accidentally fell from the window or deliberately jumped to her death.
Police said that family members saw the 55-year-old come home drunk at about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. No suicide note was found in the home.

South Korean actor Song Seung-Hyeon received the Hallyu award in Seoul this January 13th, from the Tourism Minister Yu In-Chon. He was presented the award for his contribution to the promotion of the Hallyu.

Although I really think he deserved the award, is there any other actor you can think of who might have deserved this honor as well? Lee Jun Ki? U GUN? Pop star Bi Rain? I'm looking forward to your feedback.

JAPANESE VOICE ACTOR DAISUKE GORI FOUND DEAD; SUSPECTED SUICIDE.

According to an article by the Mainichi Daily News, the voice actor who is famous for roles in Dragon Ball GT and GeGeGe no Kitarou to name just a few, was found dead on a street in Tokyo; his neck and wrists were bleeding. Although a knife was found nearby, police suspect no foul play and are considering suicide as the cause of death.

It's very sad how many celebrities--Asian or not--commit suicide every year.

I really wish that everyone would realise that there are other options. If you are feeling depressed and need someone to talk to, please reach out to someone, and if all else fails then visit these links:
